Accessibility policies for Information and Communications Technology (ICT)
ICT accessibility for persons with disabilities is a priority for iBridge Group. Our accessibility policy is consistent with the principles of dignity, independence, integration and equal opportunity. Our employment practices include notification of the availability of accommodation for applicants with disabilities, as well as supports for staff with disabilities. Where employee needs dictate, we provide individualized workplace emergency response information to all employees, including those that have a disability. Our performance management and career development processes will take into account the accessibility needs of our employees with disabilities. iBridge Group strives at all times to provide its services in a way that respects the dignity and independence of all people, including those with disabilities. We are committed to excellence in serving all of our clients and our employees.
Opportunities
We will give people with disabilities the same opportunity to access our products and services and allowing them to benefit from the same products and services, in the same place and in a similar way as other clients.
Information and communications
When providing information to, or communicating with, a person with a disability, we will provide, on request, the information and communication in a manner that takes into account the person’s disability. This includes our publicly available emergency information and feedback processes, such as surveys or comment cards. Customers have access to our services through DIR and similar contract vehicles, partner relationships, as well as our phone, email, website (iBridgeGroup.com) and ticketing system. We are in the process of migrating from our current ticketing system to system that provides improved accessibility and meets 508 regulations. We are also in the planning stages of a website redesign that include the removal of Flash and improving the accessibility of our site.
